I like how the author denies credit in creating the web safe palette. But, is the web-safe palette that safe? When using colors on the web these 216 colors can seen but this palette is based on math, not beauty and many artist and people with a visual eye would have never picks those colors. But nowadays that is not a problem as most computers can see all 256 colors. I like this article because it was simple to understand and it was straight to the point.

  1. Excellent points Lynna. What’s interesting, from a historical perspective, is that there was a huge culture of designers at the time, who were searching for the best color combinations from this limited palette. They came up with some gorgeous designs, even with these limitations.
